INTEZAR SHAWL

Intezar is the Hindi word for Waiting. These days have been long and I have been waiting, for what, I am not sure. But I feel like i am waiting for something.
This shawl has had a similar journey. I first started this shawl in 2016, but it got delayed for many reasons and this shawl waited patiently for me to come back to it and complete it. Its not that I didn’t enjoy making it, its amazing to work on, but something held me back from releasing it.
But its finally here, I hope you enjoy making it.

MC: 200gm of fingering weight yarn, approx 800m / 875yds
CC: 125gm of fingering weight yarn, 415m / 454yds
 
Hook Size: 4 mm / US 6
 
Gauge: 21 sts x 8 rows in dc makes 10 cm / 4”
 
Notions: 1 Stitch Marker (M), tapestry needle
 
Finished Measurements: 70” length x 23” wide/ 178 cm length x 58cm wide
