HAT PATTERN
Ribbing:
With the smaller 4mm crochet hook, Ch11and using the Green colour
Row 1: hdc in 2nd ch from the hook and in each ch to the end. Turn. (10hdc)
Row 2: Ch1, blo hdc blhdc in each dc to the end. Turn.
Rep Row 2 - 46 (52, 55 ) times. 48 (54,57,) Rows of hdc in total – The length of the ribbing should be approx 19 (21,23) inches
Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Use the long tail to sew the short ends of the ribbing together.
Main Body
Join with Sl St using Red Colour, join with Sl st to the edge of the join.

Fold the hat in half, Join the 2 edges using mattress stitch using the same colour that the hat ended with. Weave in the ends. Adding a pompom/tassel is optional.
